Taste of Melbourne is the perfect place to experience the best of the city's vibrant restaurant scene and discover gourmet produce from handpicked suppliers.

There are three main types of ticket available for Taste:

GENERAL ENTRY($25 in advance)

A General Entry ticket includes admission into the event for your chosen Taste session. Once inside, you can sample the delights of the Taste Producers Market and enjoy a huge program of complimentary features including the De Dietrich Cooking School, A Journey Through Coffee with Nespresso and Learn from the Experts with Jindi Cheese.

There are a limited number of features that cost extra to attend should you wish to purchase a ticket on the day - the Jaguar Gourmet Traveller WINE Theatre in association with Vintec Wine Cellars  (8 Crowns), Sensology presents 'The Art of Cocktail Making' (10 Crowns) and the Plumm Wine Experience with Matt Skinner ($40 / Crowns). 


PREMIUM TICKET ($55 - advance sales only)

A Premium ticket is the same as a General Entry ticket but also includes $30 worth of Crowns to spend on dishes from the restaurants, drinks from the bars and gourmet goodies to take home from the Producers Market.


HSBC VIP TICKET ($100 in advance)

For those looking for a little added luxury, an HSBC VIP Ticket includes fast-track entry into the event, access to the exclusive HSBC VIP Lounge, 3 complimentary drinks from the VIP bar (with complimentary still/ sparkling water and coffee available throughout the session) & $30 worth of Crowns.

What are Crowns?
Crowns are the official currency used at Taste Festivals to purchase dishes from the restaurants, 1 Crown = $1 and sample size signature dishes are priced between 8-12 Crowns. You can buy Crowns in advance with a Premium or VIP ticket Package (each package includes a book of 30 Crowns). Crowns can be purchased onsite at the event from our Crown Banks, roaming Crown Sellers and the Ticket Office.


 Planning Your Visit
Taste of Melbourne operates just like a restaurant with a lunch and dinner service. A Taste session lasts for 4 hours (5 hours on Sunday) to give you plenty of time to enjoy your pick of restaurant dishes, browse the Producers Market and enjoy the fabulous foodie features.
